Our services

Erection Problems & Premature Ejaculation

Erection problems are common and can be linked to blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, heart health, medicines, stress or relationships. The doctor asks about your health, checks your blood pressure and arranges blood tests where needed, so any underlying condition is not missed.

Treatment may include medicine, where it is safe with your other medicines and heart health, and advice on lifestyle and other options. Premature ejaculation is assessed in the same confidential way, with treatment and follow-up based on your goals.

  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Premature ejaculation
  • Checks of blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol
  • Review of medicines and interactions
  • Treatment where appropriate, with follow-up
  • Urology referral when needed

Prostate & Urinary Symptoms

Urinary symptoms in men are often caused by an enlarged prostate, but can also come from infection, bladder problems or other conditions. The doctor asks about your symptoms, examines you and arranges urine and blood tests that are relevant.

Treatment may include lifestyle changes and medicine, with referral to a urologist when needed.

  • Weak stream, straining or dribbling
  • Passing urine often or at night
  • Urine tests and kidney function
  • PSA testing after a discussion of its benefits and drawbacks
  • Treatment and review
  • Urology referral when needed

Low Testosterone Assessment

Low sex drive, erection problems, loss of body hair or muscle and low mood can sometimes be caused by low testosterone. The doctor checks your symptoms and arranges morning blood tests, repeated to confirm the result.

Testosterone treatment is considered only when low testosterone is confirmed, and the risks and monitoring are explained first. It is not offered for tiredness alone. A referral to an endocrinologist is arranged when needed.

  • Assessment of symptoms
  • Morning blood tests to confirm the diagnosis
  • Checks for other causes
  • Treatment and monitoring where appropriate
  • Endocrinology referral when needed

Male Fertility, Vasectomy & Circumcision

If you and your partner have been trying for a baby without success, the doctor reviews your health and medicines and arranges a semen analysis with a laboratory, explaining how the sample needs to be collected. Results are reviewed with you, with referral to a specialist when needed.

If you are considering a vasectomy or circumcision, the doctor talks through the procedure, recovery and what to expect, and refers you to a specialist who performs it.

  • First fertility assessment
  • Semen analysis arranged with a laboratory
  • Review of results
  • Vasectomy counselling and referral
  • Circumcision counselling and referral
