Flu, Pneumococcal & RSV Vaccines

Walk-in / By appointment

The flu vaccine is recommended every year, as the strains change. Pneumococcal vaccines help protect against pneumonia, meningitis and blood infections caused by pneumococcal bacteria, and are recommended for older adults and people with some long-term conditions.

RSV vaccination is available for groups currently recommended for it, such as some older adults. The doctor checks your age, health and past vaccines to decide which vaccines are suitable for you.

  • Yearly flu vaccination
  • Pneumococcal vaccines, based on the current local schedule and your past doses
  • RSV vaccine for eligible groups
  • Advice for older adults and people with heart, lung, kidney or diabetes conditions

Shingles Vaccination

Walk-in / By appointment

The shingles vaccine is given as two doses, usually 2–6 months apart. The doctor checks whether you are eligible, and the clinic reminds you when your second dose is due.

  • Eligibility check for adults, including those with weakened immunity

HPV (human papillomavirus) can cause cervical cancer, other cancers and genital warts. The HPV vaccine is most effective when given before any exposure to the virus, but it can still be considered at older ages.

The number of doses depends on your age when you start. The doctor talks through whether the vaccine is right for you, and the clinic reminds you when the next dose is due.

Hepatitis A spreads through contaminated food and water. Hepatitis B spreads through blood and body fluids and can cause long-term liver disease.

The doctor asks about your history, work and travel plans. A blood test may be offered first to check whether you are already protected against hepatitis B, so you are not vaccinated unnecessarily.
