Our services

Urine, Blood Sugar & Rapid Tests

Walk-in

Some tests can be done at the clinic while you wait, so the result is part of the same consultation. The doctor chooses tests only where the result will change what happens next.

A normal result does not always rule out a serious problem. The doctor looks at the test together with your symptoms and examination, and arranges further tests or referral when needed.

  • Urine dipstick testing, such as for a urine infection
  • Urine pregnancy tests
  • Finger-prick blood sugar and ketone checks, such as in people with diabetes who feel unwell
  • Rapid swab tests for selected respiratory infections and strep throat
  • Selected point-of-care blood tests where they help the decision

Blood Tests & Diagnostic Testing

Walk-in / By arrangement

Blood investigations, urine testing and selected point-of-care, respiratory or laboratory investigations according to clinical need.

ECG & Holter Monitoring

Walk-in / By arrangement

Resting ECG assessment where clinically indicated.

Ambulatory heart-rhythm monitoring using 24-hour, 48-hour or 72-hour Holter monitoring can also be arranged where appropriate.

Dengue Fever Assessment & Monitoring

Walk-in

Dengue often starts with a sudden high fever, headache, pain behind the eyes, body aches or a rash. The doctor examines you and can arrange blood tests to look for dengue and check your blood counts.

The risky phase is often around the time the fever settles, so follow-up visits are planned to check how you are and repeat blood tests where needed. Care is based on your symptoms, examination and how results change over time, not on the platelet count alone. If warning signs appear, you are referred to hospital.

  • Assessment of fever with suspected dengue
  • Blood tests for dengue and blood counts
  • Planned follow-up checks and repeat blood tests
  • Advice on fluids, rest and pain relief
  • Referral to hospital if warning signs appear

X-Ray & Ultrasound

By appointment

When an X-ray or ultrasound scan is needed, such as for a possible broken bone, a lump or tummy pain, we arrange it with partner imaging providers. The images are reported by a radiologist and the doctor goes through the results with you.

For selected questions, such as checking how much urine is left in the bladder or looking at a lump or swelling under the skin, a doctor trained in it can do a focused ultrasound at the clinic. This does not replace a full scan when one is needed.

  • X-rays arranged with partner providers
  • Formal ultrasound scans arranged with partner providers
  • Focused bladder and soft-tissue ultrasound at the clinic
  • Doctor review of the results and next steps

Blood Pressure Monitoring, Spirometry & Sleep Tests

By appointment

Some conditions are best checked over a day or a night, or with a dedicated test. These tests are booked in advance and the doctor reviews the results with you.

The 24-hour blood pressure monitor and spirometry are done at the clinic. Home sleep apnoea tests are arranged with partner providers and reported by a sleep specialist.

  • 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, to confirm high blood pressure or check treatment
  • Spirometry, a breathing test for asthma and COPD, before and after a reliever inhaler
  • Home sleep apnoea testing for loud snoring, pauses in breathing or daytime sleepiness
  • Results review and a plan for treatment or referral

24-hour blood pressure monitoring

You wear a cuff on your arm that takes readings through the day and night while you go about your usual routine. This shows whether readings taken at the clinic reflect your usual blood pressure.

Spirometry

You breathe out hard into a tube, then repeat the test after a reliever inhaler. It helps the doctor diagnose and monitor asthma and COPD.

Home sleep apnoea testing

The doctor first checks whether a home test suits you. You wear a small device overnight at home. If sleep apnoea is found, the doctor discusses treatment or refers you to a specialist.

Go to A&E or call 995 instead if
